What We Do

Helping people overcome addiction every day

Teen Challenge Canada helps individuals aged 18+ to overcome addictions by developing the whole person within the context of a residential facility. Clients learn character and leadership development skills, health and life skills, and have the opportunity to acquire some vocational training.

This program also provides opportunities for clients to learn planning and decision-making skills and to learn to contribute to Teen Challenge and the community.


Community Living

Within this 24-hour program clients live and grow together toward healthy lives free from addictions. Learn More

Helping young men and women become responsible, caring citizens and acquire skills for participating in the greater society is the focus of these initiatives. Learn More

Health and Recreation

We develop our clients’ ability to connect with affirmative behaviors that nurture their own well-being, set personal goals and live successfully as self-sufficient adults. Learn More

The Arts

This program enables clients to develop their creativity and cultural awareness through knowledge and appreciation of the visual arts, crafts, and performing arts. Learn More

Life Skills

These programs help develop fitness, a positive use of leisure time, reduction of stress, appreciation for the environment and social and interpersonal skills. Learn More

Upon completing our year-long program, graduates are offered the opportunity to take part in our Teen Challenge Phase '4' Program. Learn More


Teen Challenge Canada - Join 'The Journey' Sponsorship Program

Teen Challenge Canada operates faith-based in-residence treatment facilities for individuals 18+ struggling with drug or alcohol addiction dependency issues. The 12-month program first began in the 1960's in Toronto and has since expanded to locations across Canada.

Admission is available to age-of-majority and older dependent in the province of operation.
